Spitting on Americans: Newsweek, New York Times, Liberals Want Obama in The White House;

A New York Times story is critical of John McCain for saying last week that a political adviser to the Hamas terror group says the organization is pulling for Barack Obama. Times reporter Larry Rohter calls McCain’s statement a "portrayal".

But Ahmed Yousef clearly stated on April 13, "We like Mr. Obama and we hope that he will win the election."

The Times also writes McCain is wrong for saying Obama has said he would hold unconditional talks with Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad. Rohter includes a denial by Obama foreign policy adviser Susan Rice. However, Obama said during a debate last July that he would meet with the leaders of several countries, including Iran. He reiterated that during an interview with Tim Russert April 30.

And his Web site says, "Obama is the only major candidate who supports tough, direct presidential diplomacy with Iran without preconditions."

On Sunday, Warner Todd Huston — from NewsBusters.org — apprised readers of a truly disgraceful Newsweek article which continued to demonstrate just how in the tank the liberal media is for Obama.

On Monday, the good folks at National Review Online were similarly outraged, and expressed concern about Newsweek's obvious lack of impartiality. NRO took issue with Newsweek's reference to the McCain campaign's "letter suggesting Obama was the candidate of Hamas" without explaining what precipitated it:

NRO says:

""Really, if Newsweek is going to write [about this McCain campaign letter], you would think their readers might deserve to know what prompted McCain's campaign to suggest that Obama is the candidate of Hamas, i.e., top Hamas political adviser Ahmed Yousef saying the terrorist group supports Obama’s foreign-policy vision and hopes he wins:

"We don’t mind–actually we like Obama. We hope he will [win] the election and I do believe he is like John Kennedy, great man with great principle, and he has a vision to change America to make it in a position to lead the world community but not with domination and arrogance," Yousef said in response to a question about the group’s willingness to meet with either of the Democratic presidential candidates.

[And one of Obama's] advisers, Rob Malley, was holding meetings with Hamas, and Obama's promised to hold unconditional face-to-face presidential summits with the guy who's funding and encouraging Hamas.""

In every election cycle in my memory, the enemies of our country always want the democrat to win. There’s a definite pattern.

Spitting on Americans: Newsweek, New York Times, Liberals Want Obama in The White House;

And they want it so bad, MacCain is going to discover just how two-faced his "friends" really are.

AndMay he feel the sting of their betrayal as bitterly as we conservatives felt his.

The only place I encounter Newsweak anymore is in my dentist’s waiting room.

Obama may be the biggest snowjob ever hoisted on the American public.

Only good thing out of it is that he can be used as a gauge for determining the amount of uninformed and gullible people in this country..

If every conservative stopped subscribing to left wing publications like their daily newspaper and news weeklies, these publications would all go under. I tell my friends that by subscribing to their local paper they are merely helping write the Obama propaanda machine. Most of the content is available for free on the internet anyways.

Maybe I’m older than you but I remember Jack “Mattress Jack” Kennedy. His old man bought him the nomination, and the Mafia stole Illinois, while LBJ stole Texas in the electoral college.

So far, Barry is a poor second.

I asked my dentist to take Newsweek and Time out of the waiting room. He had his receptionist monitor how many people picked them up for a while, and found that the gals all read women's magazines, US, and People, and the guys all read Sports Illustrated and Business Week. About six months later he told me that since "nobody's reading them, they're not doing any damage." I volunteered to donate a subscription to National Review, which after reading an issue, he accepted.

A lot of places such as the "Y", dentists or doctors will accept subscription donations. You might try it.

All too true, however, keep in mind that Nixon could have challenged and didn't (typical of Republican "respect for the process" which DemocRats never seem to be plagued by.)

Also keep in mind that JFK had more real-life experience at that point in his career than Barry does now, and that on the "large issue" of our times -- the Cold War -- JFK was nowhere near as soft was Barry is on the large issue now.

“Newsweel in my dentist’s waiting room”

You know, that’s scary. The last two months I’ve been trying to get my Army Reserve physical fixed so I can deploy. Saw many specialists (on my dime, that’s how it is nowadays) and I swear in every last one of their waiting rooms there were copies of Newsweek. Everywhere.

As I say, spooky.

“Newsweel....!!?”

(Sorry. But maybe that’s an improvement.)

If the crypto-muslim isn't elected POTUS this time, he or somebody just as evil and insane will be soon.

After the damage inflicted by the 8 year reign of the socialist crook Clinton, America dodged a bullet with algore in 2000, but there are just too many imbeciles that have been given the franchise via constitutional amendment and Motor Voter to hold back the tide for long.

As if the fact that Nancy Pelosi is Speaker of the House wasn't evidence enough that is all over but the shouting for this Republic.

"top Hamas political adviser Ahmed Yousef saying the terrorist group supports Obama’s foreign-policy vision and hopes he wins:"

Supports Obama's foreign policy??  I wonder when Team Obama briefed Hamas? Because he certainly hasn't told the American public what his foreign policy vision is.

... since "nobody's reading them, they're not doing any damage."

Did it occur to him that since nobody is reading them he is wasting his money subscribing?

I think he was trying to pacify a conservative patient. I am known in their practice as "the guy who always switches CNN to Fox News."

Anyway, I was very happy to offset these two rolls of weekly toilet paper with the donation of a real news magazine. When I see where NR is displayed at Barnes and Noble or Broder's, my dentist's office is probably its most prominent marketing location.

re: MSM/Obama

I’ve never seen such a lying media or candidate in my life... blatant lies and omissions. Disgusting.

Now I understand why the press was shut down before.

And from his total screwed up view of history on foreign policy talks (Harvard? I need to see it on paper), it sounds straight out of a madrassa or Hamas/Hez website.

Obama’s still going around the country saying Bush said he wants to meet with terrorists. Great way to take minds off rockets launched, Israel's anniversary and the disgusting pork and legislation (re: Ag/immigration on Iraq funds, etc.), they're pushing through on the hill.

I haven't seen the MSM show the actual Bush footage yet, but they keep stating Bush started political firestorm there. Israel's not Dearborn, Newark, Pascagoula, L.A. or Orlando... it's international. How desperate.

I guess you heard some UN guy will be here Monday re: racism in our elections. Can you believe this friggin crap? To report on race in our country to the UN Human Rights Council... you know, the ones who file on Israel and US for violations all year while Burma lets folks starve, North Korea and China snatch organs, Odinga’s thugs slaughter, Muslims are killing all over the world. My bad, those rights abusers are on the Human Rights comm. /s

I agree.

However, man made (really American) global warming is also one of the biggest hoaxes ever.
