Oh, not quite perfectly even. I'm pretty sure he has no intention of HIS family living in a 750 sq ft public housing unit, eating only what the food rations allow. Methinks you're right. My guess is that, somehow, the tax laws will be skewed so that he and his Imperial Queen dodge the bullet...

In 1947 Sen. Robert Taft (”Mr. Republican”) was asked about the problem of rising food prices. His proposed solution: “Eat less meat, and eat less extravagantly” was shortened to “Eat less” in Democratic ads and helped to defeat Republicans in the 1948 Truman-Dewey election.

Agreed.
Except that I would change it to “forcing others to do the same.”
Nothing wrong with trying to talk others into changing their wasteful ways.

I hope you’re not grilling that steak outside. It’s no longer politically correct — pollution ya know. Maybe you can afford some carbon offsets.

Forgot to mention Carter urging Americans to wear an extra sweater at home rather than turning up the heat.

I never keep my house at 72 in winter I kept it at 76.
My truck gets 10 mpg around town.
And I don’t give a rats ass what the other countries think about it.

Democrats — the party of limits, except when it comes to government handouts.

I am grilling mine and the 4 others outside. Oh, and don’t worry, Obama, I am green (adding some good old parsley to dress it up). The only carbon in my house is the carbon (coal) I’m grilling with.

Its depleted, not depleated. I notice that sometimes people on FR spell speech as speach also.Ummmm... Sorry. I didn't create this 30 year old cartoon.
However, if you would like to correct it, we'd all certainly appreciate it.
Thanks!

The parsley is a good idea. That should fool everybody. I bet you use your fireplace in the winter too ; )

Because I’m cheap I keep my house at 67 in the winter and 76 in the summer, because I don’t want to get fat I don’t eat everything I want to and because I hate stopping to get gas I drive a Ford Escape Hybrid.
I could care less what other countries think of me. What I do is because it’s what I want to do.

Yes, with a nice balsamic vinaigrette for your starter. Then the risotto, followed by da belle o' da ball, osso bucco.
Are your really a hinkley buzzard? If so, we're neighbors.
