Sorry, Obama, but if your wife is out there representing you and your campaign, she IS open to criticism for her comments, the same way that x42 and Cindy McCain would be.

Michelle Obama is a surrogate of Barack’s. Therefore she is fair game. She is giving policy speeches and criticizing the opposition which opens the door!

Wouldn’t Michelle Obama be a legitimate target, considering that she is campaigning for a candidate, and would hold an [unelected] government position if her candidate of choice was elected. Yes, she is her wife, but she had made herself part of the political process. No unlike former First Lady Hillary Clinton.
No, not yet. The “alleged” existence is picking up some mention in the MSM but I wouldn’t put it beyond them to bury it if it is as eplosive based on leaks from the Hillary Clinton campaign.
