Obama apparently has no comprehension of what nuclear weapons can do. Perhaps that is a disadvantage of a candidate too young to have practiced "duck and cover" to avoid being killed by a nuclear blast. He is oblivious to the possibility of Iran using nuclear weapons against Israel which might respond by destroying the rest of the Middle East with its nukes.

That's a bad thing?

“Likely Democratic presidential nominee Barack Obama told supporters Iran is just a “tiny” country at a campaign stop in Oregon Sunday evening. “

One or 2 cities gone here or in Israel, is not a big deal to Obama.

Germany and Japan were tiny countries during WWII.

"Iran, Cuba, Venezuela, these countries are tiny compared to the Soviet Union. They don't pose a serious threat to us the way the Soviet Union posed a threat to us,” Obama said.

You have GOT to be kidding me!?!?! Does he have a clue about what he is saying? I was looking for the Scrappleface tag, but I didn't find it.

Obama is as dumb as a sack of door knobs; all his snappy combacks are composed by a gang of commie, America hating, cigarette and coffee breathed speech writers he drags along on his crusades. I get sick of the MSM hyping this stooges intelligence.

Iran has 636,374 square miles, the U.S. 3,537,441 square miles. Iran is more than 1/6 of the size of the U.S.

Hardly small.

Iran is just a tiny country

So was Germany.
Those that forget history are doomed to repeat it.

I can’t believe he admitted that the Soviet Union was a threat! I would think that he would have been all in favor of a Soviet victory.

Exactly. This moron can “talk” all he wants but he has no idea (like most leftists and girlie men) about military matters. He has no idea what one nuke for the Hesbos, and one nuke for Hamas, could potentially do to a small country like Israel.
He forgets that Israel has nuclear submarines ready to respond. Destroying a large part of the worlds oil supply in the process.

Iran is three times the size of France and five times the size of Germany. Yeah, it’s a tiny country and the US has 57 states.

Well, let's look at history, recent history, Vietnam was a tiny country, North Korea was a tiny country and Germany was very small compared to the rest of the world it tried to enslave(and came close to doing so). Had they used their heads a little better, or killed off Hitler and took over the military, they would have succeeded in beating Russia and if they had it would have been a different world today. The size of a country matters not, it is their ability to wage war that counts and if Iran, or Venezuela, come up with nukes it won't matter how big they are.

The main threat at this time is to Israel but I guess he doesn't give a rat's a** for the Israelis. What a dumb a** and what a bunch of dumb a**es the libs are for listening to this idiot.

Iran is more than twice the size of Texas, has a larger population than the UK or Germany or France or Italy, and has a GDP per capita higher than the Soviet Union's ever was.

Iran has more people and more wealth than Germany had in 1939.

They may be tiny, but their leadership is far more insane. Therefore, I’d say they are as big a threat as the USSR ever was - probably more so.

I don't see Israel doing that unless they plan on living underground for a few thousand years.

Apparently, this is reaching into the realm where “you can’t make this stuff up”.

I know the campaign trail has been a non-stop marathon since probably last December, but Ozombi is getting close to losing it altogether to radical beliefs. All the “libertion theology”, the collected Kool-Aid drinkers, the twisted logic in tying these diverse elements together, and the rock-star atmosphere, all conspire to either carry a wave that will swamp the national government, or turn away and leave a huge mud flat, with millions of dazed people in its wake.
