?Conservative Gloominess (Buck Up FReepers - It’s not as bad as you think)”

We have a “choice” between a Liberal with an R after his name or a Liberal with a D after his name. How exactly is it not as bad as I think?

A good meal and a bottle of Scotch will make it all bearable. LOL!

No, we have a moderate with an R after his name. One who'll nominate JUSTICES that will UPHOLD the CONSTITUTION and keep the TAX CUTS. Then we have a SOCIALIST MUSLIM with a D after his name who'll give us BIG GOVERNMENT!!

I have to vote for the WOT - and McCain - THOU NOT PERFECT is my choice.

Really, I am not gloomy. Life is good. Kids are doing well and providing beautiful grandchildren. We are healthy. We eat well. Have really good friends. Not making choices about what to pay and what must wait. We get to do what we want, pretty much when we want.

I'm just not going to allow politics to make all of these wonderful things gloomy. Life is too short.

Having said all of that ... in the race for president, I have no candidate for whom to vote and that is a sad situation, but not going to make my life gloomy.

To no one in particular, certainly not you, Grunthor.

My family has dealt with the chronic health problems of one of us for years. Kinda like the state of conservatism, at the moment. We have persevered and overcame by facing it and advancing straight up the middle, not always as fast nor as far as we would wish. I learned long ago that nothing is ever as bad as we can imagine it to be.

We could have had the MSM or the Dim crossovers pick Guliani or Romney as our nominee??
