I suspect most of these suicide bombers are drugged to the point of stupor and then pointed in the right direction. This is in marked contrast to the Pali propaganda about heroic “martyrdom”. It looks bad if you have to drug your loyal soldiers to get them to carry out their missions.
It wouldn’t be surprised. The “assassins” were a special terrorist brand of Islam. They were stoked to the gills with hashish by their Shiite religious leader, Hasan-i Sabbah, whence the name “assassin.”
Incidentally, their enemies called them assassins; they called themselves Fedayeen, which is where THAT name comes from.
