CORRECTION: “not” interested in foolishness
Where's the fun in that? It's fun to watch liberals seethe when confronted with the truth. Think "Ann Coulter". :-)
You are right. It is fun.
But it won’t last and it will probably result in further entrenchment.
Not everything fun is productive or worthwhile.
It is my opinion that engaging the average Modern Liberal is actually counter productive. You are probably having fun at the expense of someone’s emotional attachment. They will most likely resent it and harden their positions.
It is counter productive in the same way that Ann Coulter has been damaging to Conservatism. I say this even though I generally agree with her. Ann Coulter has been confrontational for the sake of the confrontation and at the expense of being persuasive.
Gee, thanks, Captain Bringdown. ;-)
I know who they are and what they are. Teasing them/confronting them with the truth is all in good fun - of course with the hope they will learn something from it.
Again, my advice:
Politely tell your Modern Liberal friends that you dont agree with them and that you are NOT interested in foolishness. Deny them your attention, cooperation and involvement. If possible to do it subtly, give them a hint so they know why you are no longer joining them. Find some new friends.
It is just my advice. It is what I do.
You may “hope they will learn something from it.”
They won’t. It isn’t about knowledge.
Teasing and confrontation are fun. It won’t last.
"The spread of evil is the symptom of a vacuum. Whenever evil wins, it is only by default: by the moral failure of those who evade the fact that there can be no compromise on basic principles." Ayn Rand Thanks!
That Ayn Rand quote ALSO explains the modern Republican Party and why they will get their butts handed to them in November.
God help America — the place. America — the IDEA — is as dead as Kelsey’s nuts.
They wont. It isnt about knowledge.
Teasing and confrontation are fun. It wont last.

M'kay. Thanks, bye.

I think it's better to keep it to yourself as much as possible, because if they ever get absolute power, they could be really dangerous. Think Gestapo. If we elect a majority of Democrats in the house, and 60 Democrats in the Senate, and a Democrat President, it might be just a few short years before we have to flee this country. Hold on, my tin foil hat needs adjustment.
