Chivalry is still charming, as Barack Obama proved when he recently warned Tennessee Republicans to leave his wife alone.
He was commenting on a GOP Web ad that highlights Michelle Obama's comment, made at a rally in February, that she was proud of America for the first time in her adult life. When asked about the ad Monday during an interview on "Good Morning America," Obama said Republicans were welcome to pick on him and his track record, but not his wife.
"If they think that they're going to try to make Michelle an issue in this campaign, they should be careful because that I find unacceptable. The notion that you start attacking my wife, or my family ... is just low class. ... Lay off my wife, all right?"
Love that. You could almost hear those bowling pins toppling as Obama's testosterone surged, while Michelle was almost Nancy Reaganesque sitting by his side. Of course, Michelle Obama is manifestly capable of defending herself, but it's refreshing to see a man come to his damsel's defense.
Even so, hard-core feminists who switched allegiances from Hillary Clinton to Obama must have had to Botox their faces to keep their eyes from rolling out of their sockets upon hearing "lay off my wife."

Oh yeah...but his wife is free to say whatever she wants right? Phony two faced jerk. This is just another example of how liberals set the tone, frame the debate and change the rules as the game goes on. Its one of the MANY reasons why I resent them.

If either one of these two makes it to the WH, we can stop talking about slavery in the traditions sense. ... each and every working American will become the permanent slave of the loser DNC voter base. And by the way, forget ANY notion at all of ALSO, it goes without saying, that the very idea of SAVING will become an even more ridiculous fantasy!!!

Wow, that’s a great cartoon. Just mailed it to several of my lib-leaning friends, who fit being under that water to a tee.
A guy who hangs out with America haters like Jeremiah Wright for 20 years, former Weatherman Willliam Ayres and Bernadine Dohrn who were terrorists, and a wife who hates America, isn’t fresh, uncompromised and a genius. He is downright dangerous. So are those who follow him.
I agree with you, but . . .
They aren’t your friends as much as you think, but even if they are friendly, they won’t be for long.
My experience is that when you remind Modern Liberals that they are engaged in folly, they don’t change. They turn on you.
So, argumentation doesn’t work. Their views are formed by emotion and not logic.
Modern Liberals change when they realize that their choices are causing them personal loss.
My advice is to not engage them. Tell them politely that you don’t agree with them and that you are interested in foolishness. Deny them your cooperation and involvement. Find some new friends.
That is just my advice.
