Wow, that’s a great cartoon. Just mailed it to several of my lib-leaning friends, who fit being under that water to a tee.

I agree with you, but . . .

They aren’t your friends as much as you think, but even if they are friendly, they won’t be for long.

My experience is that when you remind Modern Liberals that they are engaged in folly, they don’t change. They turn on you.

So, argumentation doesn’t work. Their views are formed by emotion and not logic.

Modern Liberals change when they realize that their choices are causing them personal loss.

My advice is to not engage them. Tell them politely that you don’t agree with them and that you are interested in foolishness. Deny them your cooperation and involvement. Find some new friends.

That is just my advice.
