Bush Smiles, Condi Frowns
Arutz Sheva ^ | Jack Engelhard

Even before that, upon arrival, Bush mentioned the Bush fooled everyone.

President George W. Bush finally liberated himself from Condoleezza Rice. There's no question that for most of his presidency he'd been DUI, driving under the influence of his secretary of state, but finally, last week in Israel, he came out and revealed himself to be a Zionist Christian. In fact, that's exactly what Palestinian Arabs are saying, and without gladness.

Bush mentioned the Palestinian Arabs only once in his 23-minute speech to the Knesset

Jewish longing for Jerusalem, yes, Jerusalem, and if that didn't surprise the Israelis, it sure surprised Condi, who wants Jerusalem spliced in half. In the Knesset, Condi was a woman scorned when Bush said this: "The source of our friendship runs deeper than any treaty. It is grounded in the shared spirit of our people, the bonds of the Book, the ties of the soul."

Wow!

I think everybody, probably even Bush, found Rice a massive disappointment.

You think Rice makes it up as she goes along? She’s does Bush’s bidding. She works for him.

The prez finally had enough of the terrorists palis. About dang time too. Rice, with all of her education, can’t even deal with palis. Palis have always been troublemakers. That’s why the present King of Jordan’s granddaddy expelled the suckers. Palis are troublemakers. Rice, with all her impressive credentials can’t deal with them. And palis always will be troublemakers because the rest of the muslim world with all their resources REFUSE to provide land and money to transfer these terrorists onto arab land. Reality has finally surfaced in the Bush Administration.

As someone else noted about Condi, she needs to stay in the ivory tower of academia, or become NFL commissioner. As SOS, she has demonstrated little to no executive ability or diplomatic talent (other than spouting all the same old tired, broken record, Foggy Bottom diplo-speak).

It fascinates me to see yet again the President throw down an AWESOME speech. It is an audacious display of leadership in the face of radical Arab/islamic fascist bigotry. And yet it remains idealistic in precisely the terms he has consistently spoken in since 911.

Despite the incredible nature of this rhetoric, I get to read as I have a hundred times or more:

“its about time he talked like this”

He has NEVER spoken any other way in international affairs. The ONLY reason this speech even saw any media light of day is that Obama made the mistake of thinking it was all about him. For some odd reason he thought appeasement might refer to him— I wonder why?

President Bush has given this type of speech again and again week after week while his faux conservative friends keep wondering ‘when is he going to stand up.’

When are faux conservatives going to stand up?

When are faux conservatives going to acknowledge that we continue to live in Bush hating propaganda state that mediates a world of denial and contempt about this President.

We are obliterating our enemies in Iraq— Iranian, Baathist, and Al Qaeda— but the media just go mute when the evidence is so overwheming against them.,

The Media has selected Barack Obama to be your next President. He has no particular resume to be such an individual. He can say there are 57 states and the Media will say ‘he is your next president or you are a racist.’

When are faux conservatives going to stand up and fight back?

Thank you President Bush— again— for your awesome leadership.

You think Rice makes it up as she goes along? She’s does Bush’s bidding. She works for him.

So, you think that the Bush White House is playing "Good Cop-Bad Cop" with Israel? Condi talks tough and Bush is the nice guy with clean hands.

The problem with that thinking is that Bush is contradicting a number of things Condi has said. Especially about the peace agreement coming now. Perhaps the difference between Bush and his SOS is a real difference of opinion and he has less control over her than the rest of the state dept. and the Saudis do. Perhaps, as his administration draws to an end, he can be truly free to tell it like it is. Maybe.
