Greetings!
I was John McCain's Navy Flight Instructor --- in formation tactics and air-to-air-gunnery. I could write a book about this man. Suffice to state, I shudder (and I'm fearless) at the nightmare thought of this man becoming our next President and Commander in Chief. I am not alone as to this man's former shipmates, instructors and senior officers --- as to who and what this man is really all about. Although politics is really theater and the best performing actor gets to stay on the main stage --- sorta like American Idol only much more dangerous to all living things --- the performance and the make-over (re-invention) of this man is currently matched only by that of former LTC Oliver North, USMC (Ret.). Together on the same ticket, these two clowns would be real crowd pleasers in this sorry day and age of liars, banal dummies and limp-headed performers.
Thanx for having the guts to put the real deal information on the site re: John Sidney McCain III --- since the mainstream media is much too lazy to put the real story on McCain out there for the rest of their lazy consumers.

McCain was crushed at one point. Just how did he come back so quickly? How did he go from the bottom of the pile, someone NOBODY wanted to hear or see, to the Republican party’s number one guy?
C’mon this is so transparent, this is the first strike in the left’s version of “The Swiftboating of John McCain”.

[The following is personal opinion.]
I -do- agree in large part with the "US Constitution" part of their platform. I'm all for restoring the federal government to the design originally envisioned by the Founders, with a few carefully chosen updates (many of the Amendments above 10 are worthwhile).
The "Christian Gospel as Basis for US Federal Legislation" part, nope. I acknowledge the large part Judeo-Christian moral teachings played in the forming of the Republic, no argument. But it is historically inaccurate to claim that the New Testament was the basis for the Constitution:
This great nation was founded, not by religionists, but by Christians; not on religions but on the Gospel of Jesus Christ...I was raised a Christian, and believe that we can honor and incorporate many of the teachings of the New Testament without having to turn America into a theocracy.The goal of the Constitution Party is to restore American jurisprudence to its Biblical foundations...
... and to limit the federal government to its Constitutional boundaries.
Those are, of course, my personal opinions, and your mileage may vary considerably. You are welcome to your opinions.
The Constitution Party platform does make very interesting reading, and I recommend it.

McCain got the delegates fair and square, because there was no electable conservative running. Why aren’t you blaming the conservatives who couldn’t manage to come up with a candidate who could win the Republican nomination and has a shot at the general election?
At this point attacking McCain and going as far as advocating that the Republican Party “dump him” ONLY serves to improve Obama’s chances to get elected. Maybe that is the group’s REAL agenda.

There is no one conservative who is 100% pure and then you have the Libertarians who are the anti war foot soldiers for Obama as that is who they will have voting Libertarian
