I wish the networks would take some time out during the election coverage to at least mention the major write-in numbers. I am of the opinion that if they tallied up the write-ins they would amount to a significant number of votes, maybe more than the differential between the two "major" candidates, and enough to swing a close election.
We know that happens with 3rd party folks from time to time. I'll bet this year it happens with Conservative write-ins. But of course, that's not NEWS... grrr-rr.
At least you and I will have the satisfaction, when everything goes to hell in a handbasket over the next four years, that we didn't contribute willingly to the decline and fall.
