There certainly are lots of reasons to dump him. He appears senile. He makes gaffe after gaffe and bad ones. His statements that he knows nothing about economy, that we are in Iraq for the oil, and others will be used against him in November if he does not implode before it.

I’ve got to say, that with the exception of some very few die-hard McCainiacs, I’ve been hearing nothing but moans and groans about him from our side since he became the presumptive Republican nominee.

I’m less than expert at these things, but it seems to me that if enough Americans expressed to the Republican party that they choose a different standard bearer, that they’d have to listen.

In essence, I just don’t see why the citizens of the nation can’t find a way to force a replacement of McCain before the general election.

Glad you’re staying on topic. These things drift so easily.

I agree with the other millions of Republicans and conservatives that this guy was foisted upon us, and that the Republican party is literally in a condition of Treason to its rank and file members for anointing him as our representative.

McCain is no such thing. The people know it, and I think the Republican party leadership knows it too, but they just don’t give a damn about what matters to us ordinary Americans. It’s simply some sort of corporate power game to them. They couldn’t care less whether this man’s policies align with the needs, wants, and the will of most Republican voters.

I think my grand daddy was the first person I ever heard utter the phrase, “throw the bums out”, but now’s the time, if there ever was one.

I can’t help thinking of how the original colonists must have felt at the moment in which they had finally had enough, and were more willing to stand up against the world’s greatest superpower to tell them so, than to suffer another day under its tyranny.

Personally, I’d like to see a national movement to fire the majority of our so-called Republican representatives in congress. Fire the leadership of the party while we’re at it too, just to make sure we root out all the rot.

The level of angst and anger on our side has been growing for years. I see it daily on this board and others, and read it in the articles posted here.

We Americans who still understand the basic concepts of Americanism have been growing more restless over the worsening conditions of our country by the year. Eventually something’s got to give. We’ll either reach a boiling point where we finally stand shoulder to shoulder against the treason, or we will allow the greatest nation in all the world’s history to pass into legend.
