Actually, he’s got a point. It’s called “mutual assured destruction” and it worked with the Soviet union. The Great Man, President Ronald Reagan, took a few threes and turned them into a royal flush, Gorbachev bought it, and thus Star Wars actually became reality...twenty years later, AND Mr. Gorbachev DID tear down that wall. We were NOWHERE CLOSE to the necessary technology to make good on President Reagan’s threats back in the Eighties. Never forget that. It was the most brilliant piece of diplomacy in human history, and as a socioanthropologist, I am qualified to posit that opinion.
