A nude maid cleaned up good at a Florida man's home.
The Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office says the maid stole more than $40,000 from a Cheval home despite not wearing any clothes.
The 50-year-old man hired the maid through the Internet on Friday to clean his suburban Tampa home.
Authorities said the woman arrived at the home in a one-piece, light colored dress. She took off the dress and cleaned the house for $100 per hour.
Sheriff's office spokeswoman Debbie Carter said the man told deputies he left the maid alone in the bedroom to clean.
When the man's wife came home from vacation, she discovered $40,000 in jewelry missing from their bedroom.
Police are investigating.

There’s more than one way to define the verb “clean”.

Yep, because every day a man hires a maid while his wife is out of town, and she strips naked and goes to the bedroom to “clean”, and he leaves here alone there.
To: devane617
How’d you like to be this guy this week?
40 grand in jewelry missing...
And then the intriguing explanation to his wife about why the maid was naked...and received 100 bucks and hour to clean.
Oy vey!

"On the way out of the room where did she hide the stuff? "Maybe she had one of those little tote trays with cleaning supplies and such in it. Likely the guy had his eyes focused "elsewhere" and wouldn't have even noticed.
Just a theory.

If she was wearing a wig, she could hide the stolen goods there. I heard about a woman who worked in a bank and was smuggling bills under her wig each day.

...And his wife bought
that story?
I would guess the "maid" is really an (a-hem) escort who he agreed to pay in a form of non-cash renumeration (to wit: some of his wife's jewelry) so that he could avoid having to explain the cash withdrawals. When Wifey noticed some of her baubles were missing (he didn''t think she would miss them), he blamed it on the maid. Who he hired to clean his...bedroom... while she was away on...vacation. In the nude. "But that's all, honey. I never laid a finger on her. Really." Call your lawyer, pal.

This guy is an embarrassment to geezers everywhere. He couldn't come up with something better than the truth? Sheesh.
To: Bon mots
This could be a valid insurance claim. The kicker is that the peril of theft could not have occurred as a result of an illegal act. If it was not illegal to hire this woman, he could submit a claim.
As to the payoff, lets just hope that the insured will be in good hands and get a payoff as fine as the cleaning: fast, fair and friendly.

Careful, 50 isn’t really considered “geezer” age. Geezer age begins when someone starts drawing social security.
