"...into law?" That's into "ordinance." Municipals are getting a little too big for their breeches, thanks to lack of resistance against the various municipal lobbies. Not that it will matter so much, after a few more Middle East nations have their nukes (due to further lack of opposition from our Nation against those activities).

don’t care what it looks like. if it can’t fire burst or full auto but only single shot it is NOT and assault weapon. a ruger mini14 and an ar-15 look totally different but fire the same round single shot.
