Amid a growing crackdown on religious freedom, Iranian police reportedly have been rounding up people they suspect have converted to Christianity.

On May 11, police arrested eight people in the southern city of Shiraz, according to Carl Moeller, president of Open Doors USA, a Christian organization that fights religious persecution.

Converting from Islam is a crime in Iran; converts can face jail and other penalties.

Most of those detained have been released, but at least one of them, 21-year-old Mojtaba Hussein, is still behind bars and is not cooperating with his captors

Isn’t arrest kind of extreme? Reverend Wright’s church would simply kick the converts to Christianity out.

If Mohammad was so confident of his new religion, why then did he spread his new religion by the sword and have the desire kill those who chose to forsake it in the name of another?

Islam is a criminal enterprise tenuously held together by the preponderance of ignorance and the threat of violence.

“It is a truism that almost any sect, cult, or religion will legislate
its creed into law if it acquires the political power to do so, and
will follow it by suppressing opposition, subverting all education to
seize early the minds of the young, and by killing, locking up, or
driving underground all heretics.”

Please join me in praying for Christians that are tortured and persecuted because they have found the light of Jesus.

It’s horrible.

I pray for God to protect these people, give these people “miracles of comfort” that they may be an incredible witness to Jesus’ biggest haters.

To your comment I would add an appeal for people to contribute to Voice of the Martyrs, one of the few groups which works tirelessly to encourage persecuted Christians around the world.

“religious freedom”...an Islamic oxymoron?

Another example of the Religion of Pieces at its best.

Islam is a cancer on humanity, and has been at war with civilization for over 1400 years. We are witnessing the latest surge in that war.

Yes, modern "Crusades" are needed again.

US and European pols refuse to acknowledge the FACT that Islam is at war with Western Civilization. Europe is a goner. Will the US eventually stand and fight the muzzie cancer within our borders?

I know, probably not.

Is not cooperating a euphemism for standing firm in his faith?
