“I spoke with yet another white democrat yesterday, this one a devout Catholic. She had been “praying for Hillary and Bill” to win for months, she said. Now that it’s over for Hill, I asked about Obama. She said “Did you know he was a Muslim?” She then told me that she used to read Nostramus, and he warned that if a leader came wearing a turban, it was the mark of Satan (is this what he said???). So when she saw the pic of Obama in the turban, she swore she could never vote for him. She said she would vote for McCain. That now makes 10 for 10 white Democrats I have spoke to (in CT) who said they will either not vote or vote for McCain.”

And yet next tuesday Obama will win the South Dakota and Montana primaries, states with virtually zero black population (as was Oregon last week).
Most of Obama’s $265 million in campaign donations comes from white Democrats. He raised another $32 million in April.
Do not underestimate his support.

The GOP better hope Obama is the candidate. If by some chance Hillary gets the nod, the outcome would not be good.

When I watch FOX, I find it embarrassingly Republican biased. I would prefer they tone it down just a bit so its more effective. JMO

It just seems that way beacuse all other "news channels" are to the left of Mao.

Don’t worry about Soros, Murdoch, or any of the other billionaire globalists. It isn’t they who will be robbed. It’s the middle class who are going to get the fleecing.

You’re right on.

It seems to me that the average American wasn’t in all that bad a bind until the Democrats had taken “control” of Congress and had it for about a bit over a year.

But, what do I know? It seems the people actually LIKE what the Democrat controlled Congress is doing (except for those pesky “popularity polls”) - and are poised to make it a total Democrat controlled government. The American publc seems to need a good refresher course every 20 yrs. or so on just what the Democrats do whenever they have power.

More like a mudslide into the toilet of history.

If Bambi Hussein O’Baloney Obammy wins, I'm definitely moving to France this time.

Really? There was a study that Brit Hume mentioned yesterday of the various cable news networks which said the FOX was more harsh or did less coverage on McCain than anyone else. There are many on this forum who believe FOX has tilted way left. I think they're just right. In order to live up to their "fair and balanced" tag, they have to give both sides, and I'm sure sometimes it seems a little more left and other times more right.

They were HARSH on McCain because they are like FREEPERS.

They wanted to destroy him just as Limbaugh, Coulter, Ingrham, Hannity and everyone else in that crowd tried to do.

McCain won anyway.

So, now they are changing their tune and hammerring Obama day and night.

The average American is really getting hurt financially and that all bodes well for him (Obama)," Mr Murdoch said.

That is not entirely true. It is the price of gas that is doing that. It is true that the opposing party statistically wins if the economy is in a downturn. Also, there are lots of intangibles at play in the BHO candidacy. McCain is a problem candidate for the Republicans, but Obama is softer than Kerry because of his huge negatives. A lot softer.

It will be close, I think.

“Senator McCain was a “decent guy”, he was “unpredictable”

True he is unpredictable, unlike that looney leftist Obama who can relied upon to do everything possible to collectivize America. I hope Obama starts with Murdock’s News Empire here - if he gets elected.

Was this a self proclaimed "devout" Catholic?

This was a 70-year old Italian widow, and yes she attends mass every week.

Rock star? Murdoch wouldn't know what that means until Obama hits him over the head with his commie guitar and sets his toupee on fire. The guy's an old idiot, fawning for the attention of the latest thing, which makes him feel important on the world stage. He should stop with the pronouncements that groupies make, unless he becomes another Oprah. The man's been groupified.

Well, I think Murdoch played the conservative side because no one else was, and it gave him a great opening.

Also, he was given a very rough time by the clintons when they were in the White House, and they sicced the regulators on him. He doesn’t want to go through that again, so he will cozy up to whoever could cause him the most trouble. So he has in turn backed Gore, Hillary, and now Obama—because if any of them got into power, they could give him a lot of grief.

I'm certainly glad SOMEBODY is hammering that scumbag.
Now if only they will do some serious investigating and turn up a few more of Obama's gay lovers and cocaine buddies....
