...I thought global warming was inevitable. That we were all doomed.
Now I learn that all we have to do is put the UN in charge?
What to believe, what to believe....

Like the UK, is a rationing card soon to follow?
A card with holes punched in it for CO2 usage, fill your qouta and you`re either cut off or you have to buy credits from another person. In other words, complete control over every individual everywhere and from a CO2 card to some form of digital device.

Lieberman is a lib so his actions are no surprise, if foolish, he is in character.
Warner is a complete disappointment. Three bricks shy of a full load and consorts with enemy.

"Billions of pounds are being wasted in paying industries in developing countries to reduce climate change emissions, according to two analyses of the UN's carbon offsetting program. Leading academics and watchdog groups allege that the UN's main offset fund is being routinely abused by chemical, wind, gas and hydro companies who are claiming emission reduction credits for projects that should not qualify. The result is that no genuine pollution cuts are being made, undermining assurances by the UK government and others that carbon markets are dramatically reducing greenhouse gases, the researchers say." The UN is corrupr. Need I say More

Every, and I mean every article and post I see about GW and other junk science crap contains the word, may, might, could, should, or the like. In my training as a Physicist I never heard a Prof use those terms. When I got my Patent License, I never, in my studies for that certificate, saw those terms. When I have read and written patents, I have NEVER used those terms.
These idiots scare the s**t outta me.

Scarier, is the godlike attitude of those who even give thought to the idea that legislation can change weather patterns, much less stave off in any way what nature has in store. The sheer idiocy of such belief is beyond all my comprehension.
To hear some senator claim we cannot drill our way of of this, is also coming from where the sun doesn’t shine, but to contemplate returning to 1990 when the population has grown, is a Pandora’s box, and I’ll venture to say that we don’t have a Chinaman’s chance of conserving our way to prosperity, or growth that will sustain the freedom we need to grow and prosper.
There is more, but first, our senators need to be inundated with calls this coming week and there hopefully will be some serious reminder threads.

Bush's plan upset some of his industrial allies because it is far less tough than the U.N.'s Kyoto Protocol under which 37 developed nations have agreed to cut emissions... And yet the reports I've read say that the US has controlled our emissions better than just about every country that signed onto the Kyoto Protocol.
Isn't it funny how that's not mentioned in this article.
