WASHINGTON -- The hotel where the 30 Democratic rule makers met Saturday -- to decide whether rules are rules or whether rules are made to be broken -- was within howling distance of the National Zoo.
Outside the stately Marriott Wardman Park Hotel were clusters of women with "Hear Me Roar" placards in their fists who came from all over the country -- $4 a gallon be damned -- to make what could be a last stand for their Hillary.

DNC Votes To Give Florida, Michigan Back Their Delegates But With Only Half The Votes

Washington, D.C.(AHN) - Democratic National Committee’s (DNC) Rules and Bylaws Committee decided on Saturday give back Florida and Michigan all their delegates but only with half of their voting power. The panel ruled to divide pledged delegates from the Great Lakes State between Sen. Hillary Clinton (D-NY) and Barack Obama (D-IL), 69 to 59.
Harold Ickes, Clinton’s representative to the DNC, expressed support for the Florida proposal, but said the solution for Michigan’s dispute would “hijack” the votes of more than half a million voters in the state.
“This motion will hijack, hijack, remove four delegates won by Hillary Clinton and most importantly reflect the preferences of 600,000 Michigan voters,” he said, according to MSNBC. “This body of 30 individuals has decided that they are going to substitute their judgment for 600,000 voters.”
The DNC panel voted 19-8 to approve the proposal for Michigan, which would result in half votes for the pledged delegates awarded to both Clinton and Obama, or 34.5 to 29.5.
The Florida proposal was approved unanimously by all 27 Rules Committee members who voted. The former first lady will get 52.5 delegates while Obama gains 33.5. Former North Carolina Sen. John Edwards was also awarded 6.5
I dunno,I don’t see an adam’s apple.I do see some pretty poor genetics though...
Will people start posting that picture instead of all the Helen Thomas pics?
....perpetually angry women are just so tiresome.
Is that Eddie Van Halen?
It’s not even the genetics — don’t you watch What Not to Wear? She could fix her hair and put on a SMILE and would look really different. But she has chosen to be angry, resentful, bitter, bitchy — and those are now the ‘clothes’ she wears.
The moral of the story? Don't f--- with New Hampshire, baby. Bill Gardner will take you down.
Warning: marrying Jack Germond may cause you to end up looking like Alice.
