This guy claims to be a Christian? "America" is a place. A place cannot commit a sin. Only an individual soul can commit a sin. All Americans are sinners. So are Canadians, Mexicans, Tibetans, Germans, Moroccans, South Africans, Australians, etc. None of those countries have sinned, but every living soul within those countries continue to sin.

The "greatest sin among God," according to God, (Proverbs 6:16-19), "These six things the LORD hates, Yes, seven are an abomination to Him: A proud look, a lying tongue, Hands that shed innocent blood, A heart that devises wicked plans, Feet that are swift in running to evil, A false witness who speaks lies, And one who sows discord among brethren."

I'll let God sort out your sins, but your words seem to be proud and are certainly sowing discord. Arguments can be made that you're guilty of the other five, as well.

Before anybody brings it up, I'm certainly aware of the board in my own eye.

To suggest that a piece of dirt can commit a sin is pure ignorance, to put it mildly. Kindly take off your collar, step away from the mic, and get to know Jesus. He will help you.

Right on.

Also, Jesus said in John 3:17 NIV;
"For God did not send His son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through Him."
This doesn't sounds like these "Goda**n/God condemn America" sermons coming from this so call church.

Romans 10;12 NIV;
"For there is no difference between Jew or Gentile, the same Lord is Lord of them ALL, and richly blesses ALL who call upon Him."
I would think this would apply to any differences between "whitey" and "Afro-Americans".

It would seem Rev. Pfleger, along with Rev. Wright, and Trinity Church need to seek the Lord for His help to rightly divide the Word of God, and to get to know, to experience Christ's loving, servant heart.
Rev. Pfleger's words, and Rev Wright's, in my opinion, do not reflect Jesus, and they certainly do not belong in Christian Church's pulpit.
It would seem they need to cease being "hirelings" and go get real jobs.
