Anybody know what SOE stand for?
Special Operations Executive
It was a British term for “Special Operations Executive”, the pre-curser for a Special Operations Branch in the armies of the Allies during WWII, (if I’m not mistaken!).
There’s something similar at Dachau outside of Munich. There were four female SOE agents, one of them the quite famous “Madeline” as I recall, executed there.
