“I’m A Man” was covered by Muddy Waters as “Mannish Boy”
And the Bo Diddley beat was an influence on everyone from Buddy Holly to the Rolling Stones.
Jimi Hendrix had his own version of “Mannish Boy” as well.

They had two sponsors that I can remember: Ernie's Record Shop and Royal Crown Hair Dressing.
Bo Diddley used to do the Royal Crown Hair Dressing commericals. He would start off singing "Well-l-l-l, use-a Royal Crown Hair-a Dressing" and ended them by saying that it "Makes your hair look gloomified."
Now I'll be playing that in my head for the rest of the day.
