ROFL...thanks for the laugh....I needed it....ROFLLLL
Hmmmmm.....does she ever take the little tyke out of her home? EVER???? SHEESH.
Sorry, but I consider that part of a mother's job. It's daddy's job to take mommy upstairs every once and awhile to reset the "tense and fearful" timer.

These peanut nazis are everywhere now. Ive attended 2 lectures at my sons private church school where they let the one parent lecture us and about their kids allergy. They thanked us in advance for our understanding that we could no longer give our kids, pbnjelly sandwiches, no processed bag foods, cracker, chips etc, as they are made with peanut additives etc. Then I learned only 20 people die a year from the allergy..BUT..it only affects fully developed adults..NOT..children. We are sooo soft.
Never. They will continue to demand that we accommodate their gene pool polluting spawn.
All the kids give up their poison products, which seemed OK as moonbat was giving all the kids replacement nutrition bars to ease the loss. So as I'm peeling the wrapper on these bars, the ingredient list catches my eye. Lo and behold the 4th or 5th item listed in the bars is PEANUT OIL.
Moonbat was very happy with herself for solving the problem, at least in her eyes.
All obvious females can bypass that search station, questionable ones will have to submit to that search to prevent any inadvertent smuggling on board. Any passenger found on board with two or more will be evicted from the plane, even at altitude, to prevent any potential nut reactions.
I generally love animals but I don't want a strangers dog or cat or pig next to me nor running in the aisle.........I don't want the smell of their pee, their poop, their wet fur, etc.....
yet I understand the new in vogue thing to do is to have your doctor designate your pet as a "companion pet".......unfreaking believable the gall of some people...(yet they'll complain about children)
Or she could have just said “no thank you,” which is the same thing diabetics say when candy or other sweets containing sugar are offered. Why should an airline stop serving an item just because one or two people can’t eat it.
I’m with her on this one. Kids have died from exposures to traces of peanuts. American Airlines had put in writing a policy that they “do not serve peanuts” and then they served them. While it’s always possible that another passenger will have brought something containing peanuts on board, the risk of exposure from that is a LOT less than when the flight crew hands out peanuts to everybody on the plane.
She took reasonable precautions, choosing an airline that had a written policy against serving peanuts, and presumably also carrying an epi-pen for emergency use in case her son somehow got a trace of peanuts from a passenger’s personal snack. This is an issue that everyone is aware of. As a private company, AA should be free to say it’s not their problem, and that they might serve peanuts, but that’s not what they did.
I don’t think she’s doing this for the money. Like most parents who’ve experienced the terror of a child going into anaphylactic shock, she wants to reduce the chance of that happening to another child.
LOL....we had to travel with cats when on a project in Canada....I covered their carriers (and took along drugs, just in case they needed calming down)....and once, told someone it was a SNAKE in the carrier....just didn’t want someone to freak out about their “cat allergy”.
rofl. AMEN!
Did the kid eat the peanuts?
Don’t they have a special pen for emergencies. Tell this mother we don’t just cater to her needs. She’s just looking for a lawsuit windfall.
Read up on peanut allergies. Some children have gone into anaphylactic shock just from breathing air in a room where there were peanuts. Others have gone into shock from touching a desk at school where someone had previous eaten peanuts or peanut butter, even though there was no visible trace. There is no way to be 100% safe, but when an airline has told you it DOES NOT serve peanuts, it better not.
Tort Reform Bump!

Now there’s a blast from the past!
