...tough, direct diplomacy where the President of the United States isn't afraid to let any petty dictator know where America stands and what we stand for... Naive to the bone.

John McCain has spent a lot of time talking about trips to Iraq in the last few weeks, but maybe if he spent some time taking trips to the cities and towns that have been hardest hit by this economy -- cities in Michigan, and Ohio, and right here in Minnesota -- he'd understand the kind of change that people are looking for. Obama just doesn't have the gravitas to go this nasty this early.
Iused tothink I could atleast "tolerate" him...but, that's fading fast.

Uh, Drudge certainly has been pimping Obama...
of course, Hillary wanted to reintroduce the Fairness Doctrine which was of utmost concern to Drudge...so much so that hey talked about moving offshore for a time.

Its not like Drudge is a breathless Obama shill or anything, surely? No, surely not. Drudge has been looking just like that lately, only minus Chrissy Matthews' giggles and tingles up his leg.

She needs us to pass health care plan that guarantees insurance to every American who wants it and brings down premiums for every family who needs it. That's the change we need. Guaranteed just like Social Security.
Before long, we will all be totally and utterly at the mercy of the central planners. And, we will all be equal...in poverty.

I am absolutely certain that generations from now, we will be able to look back and tell our children that this was the moment... This quote reminds me of Reagan's words: "You and I have a rendezvous with destiny. We will preserve for our children this, the last best hope of man on Earth, or we will sentence them to take the last step into a thousand years of darkness."
It sounds like many Americans, uneducated and uninformed, have been hoodwinked into believing that right is wrong and wrong is right and, as such, they are now willing to sentence their fellow countrymen and their children to a thousand years of darkness.

What an ironic twist to happen on Confederate Memorial Day. take a moment to honor our ancestors who died in this vain struggle. Happy Birthday Jeff Davis.

McCain is no Reagan Conservative. I am liking Bob Barr right now. I know of no one in my church that will be voting McCain.
McCain hates evangelical Conservatives.

There should be one date that all the Southern States celebrate as Confederate Memorial Day, but for some reason there isn't.
In 1971, Congress and the President passed a law that officially coined the name, "Memorial Day" and officially marked the last Monday in May as the official day. Many of the Southern States, however, have adopted their own dates:
Mississippi celebrates "Confederate Memorial Day" on the last Monday in April.
Alabama celebrates "Confederate Memorial Day" on the fourth Monday of April
Georgia celebrates "Confederate Memorial Day" on April 26.
North and South Carolina celebrates "Confederate Memorial Day" on May 10.
Louisiana celebrates "Confederate Memorial Day" on June 3.
Tennessee celebrates "Confederate Decoration Day" on June 3.
Texas celebrates "Confederate Heroes Day" on January 19.
Virginia celebrates "Confederate Memorial Day" on the last Monday in May.
