I’ve heard that Johnny McCain is “in favor” of this bill, but I’ve never seen anything that verified this. Does anyone have a link that would confirm this one way or another?

Juan McCain did work with Lieberman on a prototype for the Climate Security Act, but he does seem to be backpedaling now. Whether he actually said he was "in favor" of the current bill I can't verify, only that he has been a true believer in
Anthropogenic Global Warming Anthropogenic Climate Change .
This site is confused about the McCain flip-flop, too.

McCain is a big time proponent of cap and trade. In fact, McCain tried to get the ball rolling starting back in 2003, then again in 2005 with the McCain-Lieberman Stewardship acts. BTW the 2005 bill got cosponsored by Obama. They fortunately got shot down. McCain dropped his name from its current permutation that is in the senate right now. In fact, he say he wont be voting on the current bill. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Climate_Stewardship_Act

I’ve heard that Johnny McCain is “in favor” of this bill, +++++++++++++++++++ I believe he is in favor. I can't verify that specifically but in most of his recent speeches he has certainly bought into the global warming crowd's panic. I hope it's just a shift to the middle rhetoric but am quite shocked listening to him on this.
