The truth shall set you free.
You too, Barry.
I'm not so sure.
There's a lot of time between now and November and the word RACIST will not hold for all the sheeple!
EXCELLENT! And if I can remember correctly, I don’t think any of the pubbie candidates bashed McCain.....they should have....but I don’t think they did.
That is why these anti-Obama statements were all quoted from Democrats. They are allowed to say it, the GOP is not.
They will try the race card but it will get old fast...in fact it is already old. It will likely backfire if they keep it up. The worst it will do is get people to say in public they will vote for bambi (skewing the polls) but in the privacy of the voting both, or the absentee ballot, bambi will be obliterated.
I like it, but I believe that many (most) people will see it as being inappropriate and will view it as an attack or a low blow. Not saying that it’s right, but remember that the object now is to win over the squishy ‘undecideds’ who vote mostly based on personality and likability. I wouldn’t trust most undecideds to make important political decisions based on a deeper understanding of important issues - if they did they wouldn’t be undecided. I do trust them to vote based on who sounds the best, who seems the nicest, who they would like to have a beer with, etc.
The ad is spot on accurate but I fear will be a turn off to the vacant minded undecided voters.
Jimmy Carter on Obama
Hopefully like the 1980 Ronald Reagan landslide!
Osamabama is dangerous!
Of course they wasted no time. By the time the conventions are done, we’re in the mandated “no free speech” period dictated by McCain’s crowning achievement.
Oh $h!t, yeah, McCain/Feingold....thanks for reminding me, I'm getting drunk! :-)
I said the same thing in 1992. 'In the privacy of the voting booth, with the old Soviet Union just broken up and nukes in uncertain hands -- there is no way that people are going to vote for this draft-dodging adulterous sleezebag, over George Bush'... The next day I read how Mr. Clinton carried my County (Santa Clara, California) with ~60% of the vote...
Nothing would surprise me anymore on how low people place the bar on actual experience, and their walk, for the job of running the greatest, and most powerful, country in the land.
Just pray that the Lord doesn't give us the leaders we deserve, but grants us a bit more of mercy...Or better yet, that we become a people that deserve good leaders.
Damn good add!!!!
LMAO!!!!! In their own words.
Clinton won because of Perot, he only got 43% of the vote if I remember correctly. But we are comparing apples and oranges. My point is that the race card will not actually turn into votes, only an image of votes. Obama may still win, but those who already suffer white guilt are already for him, those who do not, have not and probably will not be swayed by the race card, and it might even turn them against bambi. I know a lot of libs who wanted the beast but do not want bambi, and McCain is plenty liberal for them to vote for him.
OMG! Can it be the Stupid Party is growing a brain?
