WARREN, Mich. -- Police said 20 to 30 men who brutally attacked and robbed a motorist Saturday night may also be responsible for several other violent crimes that took place the same day.
Four people were taken into custody for questioning after a motorist was beaten unconscious.
Police said the incident took place when Andy Kauffman, 29, and his wife, Angelina, were driving on North River Road when more than two dozen men wearing ball caps and baggy shorts spread out across the street and blocked traffic.
Kauffman tried to drive past them and someone threw a brick in his window. Kauffman stopped his car and got out to see what happened.
"At that point at least 12 of the subjects jumped on him, beating and kicking him several times to the point where he was unconscious," Macomb County Sheriff Mark Hackel said. "A second man then got out of the car and also was attacked, but not nearly as bad as the first individual."
A short time later, police were called to a gas station nearby for a fight.
A man who was using the pay phone was beaten. He was not seriously injured, police said.
Police said there were several incidents within a few hours and they fear the same group of attackers was involved.

Racial descriptions please. After all, we don’t want imply that any particular racial group was involved. Perhaps this was a radical Tasmanian gang or a abunch of drunken Tibetan monks on the prowl!
Funny thing is, in that section of the Detroit area, the “yutes” are darn lucky the driver wasn’t packing.
Welcome to what it’s like to live in a Third World country. In Guatemala, Columbia, etc., this is very common (or at least was when I had friends living there). Except it didn’t take so many thugs. A few with a gun at a stop light and the driver was left standing there (if he was lucky) while the thugs sped off in his vehicle.
Man, no kidding. I hope this isn’t the future of our country, but we need to be prepared.

My cars have after-market mob-deterrent systems.
They consists of the following:
1) One (1) Loaded, 5-shot .357 magnum revolver.
2) One (1) Loaded 7-shot .45 ACP Semi-Automatic Pistol with (minimum) one (1) spare, loaded, magazine.
I do, of course, utilize several variants to this system, and there is sometimes even a couple of “surprises” available for the potential mob.
Strangely, a mob has never attacked me anywhere I have driven. Coincidence? Perhaps...

Or maybe they were ethnic Carthiginians. I know they are under-represented in crime statistics but it COULD be.
According to Osama/Bama....A nationwide crack down on baggy pants and the ability to give each indivual a good talking too, would have resolved this issue before it started.
