aside from the fact that you’re suggesting blatant violation of the 4th, you know that cops would opt to goto “nice” neighborhoods where they don’t have to worry about getting shot.

Let’s see. The weapons that killed the most people in OKC were fertilizer and fuel oil. Both are legal in OKC.

The article doesn’t seem to say exactly what types of new gun control this chief wants. I doubt if he knows, either. Sounds like he’s just giving lip service to some minority pressure groups that want the cops to somehow decrease crime in poor neighborhoods without actually arresting any of the poor, innocent criminals. Not a very gutsy move, chief.
