Howard Dean Announces Major Change in Democrat Policy Too bad it's not they are all going to jump off a cliff.
To: Vigilanteman
As we move toward the general election, the Democratic Party has to be the Party of ordinary Americans, not Washington lobbyists and special interests. Me thinks that is not such a bad idea, to shun the Lobby out.The Laws should be made by the People for the People, not by the Lobby for the People.
I understand that this is conflicting with the First Amendment but a line has to be drawn in this regard.JMHO

This is BS.
They would take a lobbyist’s money.
Hell, they would take a dime off the bottom of a bird cage!

Hey Howie, get your staffers OFF the McCain campaign. They’ve been there in McCain 2008 since 2006. You don’t have the GOP’s interests at heart. In fact you are tying McCain’s hands behind his back.

As long as lobyists are kept in check, I don’t have a problem with them. It’s the exchange of gifts that bug me.
Cutting them all off is rediculous.

Global warming is not considered a special interest. It’s considered a “moral” issue by Al Gore, and furthermore, the debate is over about global warming. If you don’t believe, then you must think the earth is flat.
So to these people, support of the global warming agenda is just a given.
To: Vigilanteman
Businesses won’t be welcome by the Democrats. Only special interests, such as liberal activists are invited.
Fine. This means all the big money businesses won’t have anywhere to go but to the Republicans.
I think this is called, “stepping on your own crank!”

The DNC should be targeted under the RICO act. It’s no different than the Mafia or Al Qaeda in terms of the way it operates.
