As we move toward the general election, the Democratic Party has to be the Party of ordinary Americans, not Washington lobbyists and special interests.
It's a partly firmly built upon lobbyists and special interests. Ah, but arch-good ol' boy Howard Dean isn't having any of that, is he? He's a man of the people--in the sense that George Soros, the Sierra Club, La Raza, GLAAD, and the like are "people."
