The police chief is absolutely right and this is the result of the liberal insistence on jettisoning transcendent truth (i.e. God) from our society. Moral relativism which the vast majority of people under 50 have been spoon-fed has just about replaced God, thus, I'm under no moral obligation to do anything for anyone but myself. I think maybe that it is more than that. The lib/commies have created a culture of distrust and loathing among us through the divisions that they create in order to build their marxist utopia.

If it was just the removal of God, then I guess that I would not be a volunteer firefighter/first responder due to my agnosticism. I do believe that the heathen bastards created by the libtards could use some Judeo/Christian/Western values, but a person can be a productive and civil countryman without your transcendent truth.

Before I went to the video, I assumed it was a dangerous part of town and everyhone feared it was a trap, where the victims would be jumped and mugged.
