My personal opinion on knives, they are useful ONLY:
I lived in an L.A. ghetto for three years and my knife came in handy on more than one occasion. I'm quite partial to them.

Yeah, but in each case notice that when you need a knife, you R E A L L Y need a knife. :-)

I agree with every one of those. To tell the truth, I am more fearful of a calm man with a knife than I am an excited man with a gun. I tend to view knives with the same respect I have for .50 caliber weapons.
