Another questionable Obama veep panel member
The American Thinker ^ | June 8, 2008 | Ed Lasky

Why does Barack Obama have trouble finding untainted members for his three person panel vetting vice presidential candidates?

Eric Holder vetted the March Rich pardon for Bill Clinton. That bad judgment should disqualify him. Now comes news that a second member of the panel, James Johnson -- former head of Fannie Mae -- received a sweetheart "mortgage" from disgraced Countrywide Finance, one of the major sources of our mortgage crisis .

Johnson was forced out of Fannie Mae when a regulator found the company had violated accounting rules in an effort to conceal fluctuations in profit and had failed to maintain adequate risk controls. In April ,he finally agreed to settle charges.

Now he is one of the key people helping Barack Obama, whom he has served as a long-time advisor . One of the people who is responsible for ensuring an orderly, and honest, market accepted a sweetheart deal, and now he is picking a veep candidate?

What kind of judgment is Barack Obama displaying?

I am sure Obama has already talk to Mahmoud Ahmadinejad about who his VP should be.

Re: Mr. Johnson and Countrywide...an excerpt from: http://www.321gold.com/editorials/willie/willie060608.html

“Countrywide might lose its acquiring suitor in Bank of America, which could quickly force its bankruptcy. The implication is that the credit market will realize that the financial scheiss storm is nowhere ended. Some call the last couple months ‘the eye of the hurricane’ appropriately. They originated almost 20% of the US mortgages in recent years. Countrywide could produce the largest bankruptcy of a bank in US history. Ripple effects could be enormous and cause contagion across the banking industry.”

In your face, mutha....

The Soros manipulation machine has gone into overdrive, pursuing the end of bringing the American Republic to its knees, by breaking it economically, and installing an administration and national legislature that will acquiesce to its demands with little fuss.

Not to gain greater wealth. Not to perform some great act of magnaminity. Not to support any great goal for mankind.

Just to bring the Bush Administration down, destroy any legacy or achievements that may be attributed to either George W. Bush or his father, George H. W. Bush, and prevent, forever, any chance it could ever be resurrected.

The BDS run totally amok. And you thought it was only H. Ross Perot. Really a much wider conspiracy, working in the background, with the whole world as a chessboard.

Naw. No paranoia here.
