In my opinion the Bush lied and people died crowd are despicable. Are fundamentally dishonest and of low character. I think it was the so-called "anti-war" group United for Peace and Justice who first came out with that slogan ("Bush Lied, Who Died?" or something along these lines). Strangely, they were using it long before we knew what Saddam actually had. But maybe this explains it: UFPJ's national coordinator is a woman named Leslie Cagan. Cagan is a longtime supporter of communist causes and a devoted admirer of Fidel Castro. She founded the org Committees of Correspondence for Democracy and Socialism. CCDS is an old offshoot of Communist Party USA. One of UFPJ's co-chairs is Judith LeBlanc. LeBlanc is vice-chair of Communist Party USA. I suspect they were following Moscows' orders again in running that propaganda campaign.

GWB has went many rounds thus far playing rope the dope. He probably was convinced early on in due time what he did would be seen as not only expedient but crucial to future security of the United States.
Hell he flew F102's and knows things can get tough at times. A flameout, bingo fuel, eject over the gulf and hope to be recovered or perish by the sharks.
