No matter you view of contraception, this is the obvious result. If you are slutting around and the pill or condom doesn't work, you will problem kill the baby to remove the problem.
I have to disagree - do you think that these women, who felt that abortion was an acceptable decision to make, would have aborted their children if they were pregnant and not using contraception? To put it in your words, I bet if they were slutting around without a pill or condom, they still would have killed the child, and possibly got pregnant more frequently, cause women and girls (especially teenage girls) will still have unprotected sex even if they don’t want to get pregnant and know it could happen anyways - they seem to have an ‘it won’t happen to me’ mentality, and I think that’s the underlying problem here.
