It's more of an indication at how gullible some sheeple are in believing any story coming from the media without doing any cross check -

And I thought only lefties were supposed to be easily manipulated and dumbed down, barking like Pavlov's dog on queue.

You’re welcome.

True about Rush and his liberties with the divine.

But he can be serious (he’s an entertainer but has had his buttons pushed lately to the point that his serious side is in maximum gear).

I didn’t use the word shocking. I said it sounded looney tunes crazy.

I find it very odd that such a looney tunes crazy effort to bring two people together to a meeting who don’t know the parties trying to bring them together and didn’t know the parties were trying to do so would end up being a major story that McCain wouldn’t meet with Graham and even mentioned by Rush Limbaugh.

And I will continue to find it odd no matter how many times you might pointlessly insult ME for my expressed views on it.

would end up being a major story

NEWSMAX - Known to generate non-stories that the gullible and easily manipulated fall for. As far as Rush... he does have 3 hours to fill every day...

You are vile in the personal abuse you heap upon others here.

But then you seem to revel in it.

It won’t stop me from expressing perfectly rational thoughts and questions regarding such bizarre goings on.

You’re kidding me?! Are those more “PREFECTLY RATIONAL THOUGHTS”?!

Thousands of stories have gotten posted right here on FR of people and groups butting in to try to shape events and yet you consider it “bizarre”.

What sense does that make? If McCain won’t go where Graham is, I’d say McCain declined to meet with him.

Yup. I'm sure folks like McCain don't believe Billy Graham has earned the consideration, but millions who have been touched by him do. Mr. Graham is definitely on the short list of those I'd like to have a sit-down for a couple of hours with.

No...it’s just the standard level of yellow journalism from NEWSMAX. The FoxNews of the internet.

Being a McCain hater doesn’t give you any special standing.

There you go again, throwing around that "HATE" word like it was candy. If you're going to persist on it then get it right. I HATE socialism. McCain represents socialism. There. Try to remember that next time you want to start hurling that "HATE" word at those you don't agree with my FRiend.

“I fail to see why McCain owes jack-squat to Rev. Graham.”

That’s why neither you nor I are running for POTUS. If JSMcCain really wants the job, he MUST show public respect to BG - as I’ve said, he has a lot to overcome and accomplish in order to defeat the silver-tongued devil, not the least of which is to win over the evangelicals (25% or more of all voters - a major (sometimes decisive) constituency.) This is/was a golden opportunity to not further p**s off conservatives in general, whom he sorely needs.

If he really wants to be elected, he NEEDS to win over, and not further alienate, such large voting blocs.

Just the way it is.
