Bro, I've served in the military as have several of the freepers who liked Paul. Don't backhandedly accuse me of having anything to do with these a$$holes.

You both share an unnatural affection for Ron Paul - that's the full extent of the link, as far as I can tell.

This coming from the guy who defended the hell out of Rudy freaking Giuliani for months on here.

I said from the very beginning that Giuliani did not deserve to be the GOP candidate and that I opposed his candidacy. I also pointed out that his nomination would be a disaster for the GOP.

However, I took exception to those FReepers who were willing to lie about his record in NYC in order to attack his candidacy.

As I said at the time, Giuliani's record on human life and on the Second Amendment - not to mention his embarrassing mess of a personal life - were all that anyone needed to point to in order to oppose his candidacy.

Claiming that he was responsible for NYC's tax burden or that he had nothing to do with NYC's spectacular accomplishments in fighting violent crime were simply unnecessary fictions invented by people who hated Giuliani more than they loved the truth.

It's not an unnatural affection. I'm the first one to point out how bogus the people that call him "Dr. Paul" and gush on his every word are. I just happen to think he has some good ideas and am sick of the liberal wing of the GOP making up bull$hit about him. I'm also sick of people who post hundreds of pictures of the Bushes every day and consider them to be borderline dieties. Talk about an unnatural affection.

Any frustration on my part comes from me lamenting how moronic and illogical everyone in general has gotten when it comes to politics, and implying that members of FR would have anything to do with the idiots in the original article is an insult to the moderating team.
