Newsweek has a piece this week on Barack Obama — titled “His Jewish Problem: A Myth?” — that is an absolutely Herculean feat of water-carrying for the Illinois senator. But before tackling the factual problems, the article’s biggest problem needs to be addressed — Newsweek aids and abets the Obama campaign’s decision to slander Joe Lieberman:
(From Newsweek) In a brief but animated Senate floor confrontation last week, according to a campaign aide who asked for anonymity when talking about private discussions, Obama told Lieberman he was surprised by Lieberman’s personal attacks and his half-hearted denials of the false rumors that Obama is a Muslim. (The aide says Lieberman was “strangely muted” during the exchange; a Lieberman spokesman says the chat was “private and friendly.”) (End Newsweek) ----
That is a surprising disclosure to read, because almost as a rule political aides don’t go walking around leaking the contents of private conversations between senators on the Senate floor to the press. It’s also hard to imagine that an Obama aide would accuse Sen. Lieberman of “half-hearted denials of the false rumors that Obama is a Muslim” and Lieberman would have nothing to say about that other than their conversation was “private and friendly.” ----

Wow... That’s one of the best and strongest statements by any politician I’ve heard in a LONG time, frankly. Joe has definitely taken off the gloves. Sounds like Obama might be in for a rough ride - I sure hope he is at least...

It will work, this was calculated public display by Axelrod, Emmanuel and the rest of the Chicago political mob: Obama told the U.S. Congress that anyone who gets in the way of his campaign is going to get hurt, in singling out Loserman Obama told every congressman in both chambers that he will exact retribution to anyone who even remotely opposes him.
And if he is elected, he will knock off conservatives one by one publicly and eradicate the opposition, I saw this Socilaist Party do it in Illinois, they will conquer and destry with a scorched earth policy.

Yeah, and I'm still lost. The problem with these blogs is that people just throw stuff out willy-nilly without regard to paragraph and story structure, making it very difficult to figure out what the heck they're talking about. Can anyone Cliff's Notes this for me?

obama wants to speak to mr. “ahmajidad” of iran, with no conditions, after he has threatened to wipe israel from the face of the earth. jews are predicted to vote for mr. obama in their usual high percentages for democrats.
