I plan on doing so as soon as the Galco holster I ordered back in April gets here. My criteria for open carry is Level II retention, something none of my CCW holsters meet. Summer temperatures in Alaska can get into the upper 60’s and even into the 70’s, so it's way too hot to carry CCW comfortably.

Sorry I clipped your sentence there, but it was that first bit that made me laugh. I'm from the Southwest US, ya see, so those temps look more like a nice cool Spring to me.
Out here, "hot" is 95 to 110 degrees.

I LOL as well, I have carried this week and it has be 90 + degrees, heck I even carry concealed when I mow the yard.
