Google’s secret “search formulas” seem to be heavily weighted toward recent postings lately, without regard to accuracy.

Anything posted on the often incorrect and moronic blog “yahoo answers” gets indexed within seconds.
I suspect that the internet folks at Obama, Inc. are twisting the heck out of these weaknesses in their model.
One wonders if Google staffers are helping the Bami folks out with a bit of insider info. I wouldn’t put it past them.

If yopu click on the link right now: http://news.google.com/news?hl=en&q=tax%20proposals&um=1&ie=UTF-8&sa=N&tab=wn that link from ‘ThinkProgress’ is showing as 23 hours old. Click on the “all 1,765 news articles »” at the bottom of that batch and the first page runs anywhere from 1 hour to 18 hours old (Sorted by relevance). Sorted by date it’s 1 hour to 5 hours old. That ThinkProgress hit piece isn’t anywhere to be found.
