From WorldThreats.com: "Chavez pledged that his country would 'stay by Iran at any time and under any condition,' state television reported. Ahmadinejad said he saw in Chavez a kindred spirit." Chavez is a source of a progressive and revolutionary current in South America and his stance in restricting imperialism is tangible.'":

"Venezuelan President Hugo Chavez has been visiting countries such as China, Iran and Russia as part of an effort to build a 'strategic alliance' of interests not beholden to the United States. He considers the United States his arch enemy.":

So far, this amounts to Hugo Chavez conducting a pretend war with the U.S. Not exactly scary.

A Venezuelan journalist is reporting that Hugo Chavezs government is recruiting young men to train with Hezbollah for the purpose of asymmetrical warfare against the US.
If this is true, then it is grounds for a formal declaration of war against Venezuela. Since the snivelers in Congress would never exhibit the huevos to do that, Pres. Bush should use whatever executive branch shenanigans he wants to come down on Chavez. After all, Bush said we would hold any country harboring terrorists or abetting terrorism accountable. Well, let's do it.

This should be funny. Remember what happened when Che Guevara’s relatives went to Tehran to talk about defeating “evil America”?
As far as the Iranian radicals were concerned, they expected the Guevarans to all convert to Islam. The communists had other ideas, once that America was overthrown, then foolish and primitive religions would be abolished and everyone would be communists.
The Guevarans were then promptly asked to leave, and did.
