I noticed that part about Italy also. I’m not a medical person but could it have been caused by a deep vein thrombosis from the flight the day before?
I had the same thought. DVT(thrombosis) with massive Pulmonary Embolus could be the cause if no prior health issues existed, especially in light of the recent long plane flight.
