Barack’s a good guy - I like him - but he’s a very liberal Democrat,” Brownback said.

That statement clearly tells you what Brownback's opinion is worth.

The MSM wants divide the GOP, to help the Dems, that’s why this article is presenting the Texas GOP support of McCain in such negative terms. they are helping McCain win the nomination.

It's working.

If one calls themselves a conservative and an evangelical, but yet can support McCain they need to take a serious look into the mirror to see if they are truly conservative and evangelical.

McCain and Obama agree in principle on nearly every issue. They are both statists. The both agree in a strong centralized federal government, man-made global warming, interventionism, the tax code, that the government has a duty to regulate firearms, that the government has a say in how you should educate your child, that the government has to be involved in the health care industry. They only differ on the details of how these goals shall be accomplished.

A vote for Obama is a vote for statism. A vote for McCain is a vote for statism. Regardless of which statist you chose the end result is the same.

The McCain camp is just not courting Evangelicals, they're doing everything they can to make sure we KNOW they don't want our support. There's a difference between being tepid about wanting Evangelical support and being openly hostile. As far as I'm concerned, these people have been openly hostile.

What you said, 7 days a week and twice on Sunday!

NO Vote for McCain is a YES Vote for Obama!

Give it up, that old scaping the bottom of the barrel scare mongering tactic isn't working this time around like it did for Bush I and Bush II with the core conservative base. McCain might peel off a handful of conservatives but not enough to make a real difference as long as he is being so openly and actively hostile to them/us.

Not a penny from me. Any money I donate will go for conservatives that are running. I may leave the presidency blank but a lot of others may need my vote.

Good strategy.

Since his second inaugural address (which was a nothing-burger), GWB has hardly done anything. He seems very disinterested in the job that he vacates come Jan. 20.

Simple math and logic also says that a vote for any socialism leads us farther down the path of socialism. Creeping socialism or Racing socialism, one is still getting socialism.

Those who have such reasons for not voting in McCain are only dishonest if they attach themselves to any change group that is insincere in its efforts to organize.

We all know what McCain's stance is on global warming, the biggest Scam ever. Are you ultimately asking us to turn into Democraps, to help McCain pick your pocket?

Was the Holocaust only meaningless evil? Or did it demonstrate that God doesn’t exist, as some have argued? Elie Wiesel seems to suggest as much, in “Night.” It’s not for me to say, but I don’t see it that way.

I don’t agree with Hagee, either. It’s not for us to say what is providential and what is evil, although it is a standard Christian argument that God turns evil back to good ends.

The Bible suggests that the Babylonian Exile was God’s providential intervention into Jewish history. It was a punishment for Jewish sins, but in the end it became a providential means of deliverance of the two tribes that survived.

Evangelicals like to speculate about the End Times. Catholics for the most part prefer not to; but I can’t say that they are necessarily wrong—only that they are attempting to explain mysteries that are beyond human explanation.

I understand your and the RNC’s dilemma but this conservative plans on voting, just not for the warmed over liberal being foisted upon the voting public. I won’t be a party to voting for someone I know will be bad for me and my family. If Osama Obama wins then I have to lay the blame for that at the feet of the left wing RINO faction of the Republican party. John McCain has to be worse than scraping the bottom of the barrel.

Wishful thinking on your part and the McCainiacs.

I'm not a mccainiac by any stretch - so get your facts straight before going off on a witless tirade.

Whoever wins the election, America is screwed. The only question is how badly we are screwed.

Frankly, not surrendering to the islamic fascists is #1 on my agenda. So mccain is the lesser evil of 2 evils.

I’d rather have McCain despite his flaws because he’s pledged to appoint judges like Scalia & Roberts.

He condemned the recent 5-4 ruling giving the terrorist detainees the rights of American citizens.

He’s not perfect but no pol is....I plan to vote for him because Obamanation will be far far worse!

********************************************

My biggest issue is the Supreme Court....and I trust McCain to nominate judges like the 4 who just dissented on the ruling giving Gitmo unlawful combatants the rights of American citizens.

McCain has got my vote because I know Obamanation will appoint judges like Ginsberg!

What guarantee do you possess that McCain will do as he is saying he will do in order to get folks like you to vote for him, lately? His record indicates that his appointments won't be nearly as conservative as people like you keep telling others. Even if he did nominate anyone close to being that conservative what makes you think that a Democrat dominated Senate will even vote on them much less approve them if they are conservative any in the least?

His claims to be conservative even though his past record, words and deeds doesn't match his rhetoric of late to the contrary just won't cut it with voters like myself. My daddy used to tell me that usually the most reliable way to judge a man on his promises for the future is to look at where he has been and where is coming from. His past deeds or actions are a usually reliable way to get a good idea of what he is likely to do should he be elected. So, just because the RNC RINO's screwed up by foisting this poor excuse for a candidate on the party is not a good enough of a reason for conservatives to vote for him thus relieving the RNC of their grievous miscalculation.
