Elwyn Tinklenberg, a Democrat who is challenging Bachmann for the the 6th District seat in Congress, said Bachmann is offering a simplistic view.Yes, for liberals the obvious solutions are always "simplistic", as if those proposing them are 5 year-old children.
It's just an excuse for inaction, since it's too "complicated" to actually fix anything.

I did read it correctly. I was responding to a previous post. The legislator was indeed referring to tapping oil in the ground. I knew that. The other poster did not.

Rep. Michele Bachmann is the real thing. If we had a couple hundred just like her we'd be doing fine. Yep. She refuses to cave on conservative principles despite the bashing she receives. She has more guts than most.
