More social engineering by a minority group in congress. These people have learned from jessy jackson how to do the shake down shuffle. When Obama gets in look for this to be the norm.

By the Antitrust Act. The companies are competitors, and competition will be reduced by their merger. In order to be allowed to merge they must pay baksheesh to the government and its minions.
