Now that we have established our definition of Antichrist we can start with simple quotes and study of the Bible that will enlighten the mind and focus a beam of truth at phrases and logos being used to describe our so called Messiah.
"People will deliver you up to tribulation and will kill you, and you will be objects of hatred... and many false prophets will arise and mislead many." -Matthew 24:9, 11.
Obviously many people can be placed on the shortlist of representing the antichrist including, I believe, our so called messiah, Senator Obama. During times like these with terrorist threatening our beliefs, our way of life and our very existence, we cannot afford or permit, for that matter, an antichrist to take over the lead of our country.
Just as 1 John 2:18 and 19 indicates that "many antichrists went out from us, but they were not of our sort;" we have seen many come out of the wood work. Senator Obama could just be the next one. He was born, educated, raised and had all of the rights and opportunities we all have as Americans; yet he is "not of our sort." He has repeatedly undermined our ability to defend ourselves, is hell bent on talking with our enemies, and turn his back towards our allies. What kind of American, other than a liberal and antichrist, would do that to his own people?
Now we are being faced with this charismatic, attractive, sweet talking personage that has swooned millions and might have the ability to mesmerize millions more. 2 Timothy 2:16-18 says that his "word will spread like gangrene" and in many ways will subvert "the faith of some." We do not have to look far to understand how this applies to Senator Obama. The words of his preacher, the cheers from the Church's pulpits, what other explanation do we have? 2 Corinthians 11:13-15 says that he "will accumulate teachers" that will tickle his ears; in other words Reverend Wright.
Millions have fallen head over heels for this antichrist with the danger of millions more falling under his spell. Can we really afford a president who hates America and represents the very policies that will destroy us? Can we really afford the next antichrist?
Not likely.

The people who love, love, love him are no worse than any of the other people that worship other celebrities, politicos, etc. but he is certainly not “THE” antichrist, though I think much of what he does is anti to Christ. Certainly, his stance on abortion is antithetical to Christ and His teachings.

If he is the Antichrist Christians won’t be around to see it because the rapture of the church will of happened, and he won’t declare he is the Antichrist until he is shot and comes back to life then he will say he is GOD if that is to come to pass...

Bill Clinton is the anti-Christ. After he left office there were floods, wars, pestillence, tsunamis, earthquakes....all signs of things to come.
Obama isn’t as smooth as the character of the Anti-Christ is made out to be in the Bible and in apocalyptic literature like the Left Behind series. If he actually were the AC, he’d have demolished Hillary. Instead, he beat her very narrowly in delegates. He’d be crushing McCain in the polls right now and people would be talking about who was going to be in the Obama Cabinet and not whether Obama will win in November.
You give him too much credit. He’s just a stealth muslim liar in $800 suits. A marxist who doesn’t have a clue how the world works and who probably has never lifted his finger to work a real job in life. If you don’t count selling coke as a real job. Oh...and he has really big ears.
There are many good points about who Senator Obama is, and I’m afraid a lot of under-estimation. I hope I over estimated him...

With the upcoming elections just around the corner, we are being flooded through all sorts of mediums with the unquestionable, unsurmountable, incredible personage Senator Barack Obama is. All of this talk about the Messiah, “we are the ones we’ve been waiting for” and other obaminations (excuse the pun) have made me think of where we stand and what we are facing as Americans and as Christians. To me Senator Obama seems more of an Antichrist rather than a Messiah.
First of all, we need to reach a agreement on the definition of antichrist. For our purposes we can use these:

- a false Christ
From Wikipedia
- a person...who will oppose Christ and substitute himself for Christ.
From Biblical study website
- against (or instead of) Christ.
