Another thing that has bothered me is the absence of folds.

Excellent point!

The Obama Certification that I downloaded days ago does have one fold across the top area through the state seal. I do not know why today’s versions would not have it.

****

I have been searching Hawaii document numbers (google).

OHSM-1 application for marriage license
OHSM-5 the form you take to your wedding for the minister and witnesses to sign
OHSM-135 is a request for a birth certificate
OHSM-136 is a request for a death certificate
OHSM-137 is a request for a marriage certificate
OHSM-138 is a request for a divorce certificate

Some of these are pdf’s, so I won’t post links.

Question: What is the likelihood that the Marriage License Application is OHSM-1, and the Certification of Marriage is OHSM 1.1, that a Certification of Live Birth would also be an OHSM 1.1 ???

List of Hawaii state documents (nothing there other than the marriage license application that I can find).

Actually, if you look closely at this enlarged version at dailykos, you can see a fold near the top through the seal. However, I’m not sure I believe this is a real birth certificate. My jury is still out. I would love to see another copy of a birth certificate from Hawaii.

I have looked closely at the rest of the document at kos and cannot find another fold. Why would this just befolded once and why so near the top and not near the center?

Just weird I guess.
