Two refrigeration engineers have been convicted by a New Zealand court for depleting the ozone layer.
The country's Ministry for Economic Development prosecuted the two men in the first ever case taken under a 1996 law protecting the ozone layer.

I don’t suppose the prosecution presented any evidence of actual damage that they caused.

I can see into the future! Humans will walk around with two tanks strapped to their backs like skindivers. Each tank will be connected to a tube. One tube goes to a facemask, It sequesters the CO2 we exhale. The other tube goes up your butt. It sequesters methane. Everyone will be on a diet of Pinto Beans, and Pinto Bean milk.
