As an aside, when I first took that oath to defend the constitution at 17, I thought about those words. I didn’t give much thought to protecting the Constitution against domestic enemies. Rightfully so, I thought about those foreign enemies. As I have grown older, more and more I believe that some of our worst enemies are those domestic enemies. In many cases, they are worse than our foreign enemies.
The hard part, is determining who the real domestic enemies are. Would it be based on politics, religion, what you read in your favorite blog, what???
